Grants to Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma nonprofits for programs, events, and initiatives to strengthen communities served by the funding source, with a primary focus on youth, education, and technology. Applicants may also request in-kind support in the form of media production and public service announcements to promote their organizations.
Requests will be considered from organizations in Arkansas (statewide); Kansas (statewide); Sun Valley, Idaho; and Omaha Metropolitan Area, Nebraska; and Tulsa Metropolitan Area and Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area, Oklahoma.
When considering applications for support, Cox Central Region uses the following guidelines:
-Cox's primary focus is on youth, technology and education. Cox supports events, programs and initiatives that further the goal of building strong communities and enriching the lives of residents.
-Diversity is a core value at Cox; as such, Cox strongly encourages applications from organizations that meet the needs of its community's unique and diverse population, including minorities, women, and the disadvantaged.
-Cox also looks for opportunities to involve employees in community projects, combining financial support with the time and talent of employee volunteers.
